Famous Words:
"You can't use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have." -Maya Angelou
Creative Arts week is so much fun! Students are encouraged to share a special talent with their class. Each classes chooses a representative for the school-wide talent assembly at the end of the week. I have a personal passion for the arts so I love that we take time to reinforce the concepts of music, drama, dance, and visual arts, as well as engineering, sports, and technology! PLUS, this will be our FIRST school-wide assembly since 2019! In core math we are continuing our unit on comparing numbers. In literacy we are pressing on with Saxon Phonics, Heggerty Phonemic Awareness, and with basic sight words.
There are SO many wonderful books on art and music as well as finding your own special talent! These will be among several books we read this week!
